KKR Real Estate Credit was formed in January 2015 to invest in real estate credit products and complement KKR Real Estate’s private equity platforms. KKR Real Estate Credit currently invests through eight separately capitalized vehicles across our Direct Lending and Securities portfolios and consists of 120+ dedicated professionals based in New York, San Francisco, Houston and Dallas.

Position Overview:

The 2027 K-Star Asset-Backed Finance Investment Management Services (“ABF IMS”) Analyst Program is an opportunity for you to join a leading investment services firm, directly out of your undergraduate career.

We are recruiting for the ABF IMS Analyst Program at K-Star in Dallas, TX. This program (July 2027 – July 2029) offers deep exposure to Asset-Backed Finance (ABF) transactions and clear learning and development milestones. At the conclusion of the program, exceptional performers may be offered continued employment based on mutual interest and business needs.

Analysts will work to support the ABF Mortgage trading desk given the significant AUM growth of KKR’s Residential Mortgage investment portfolio. Analysts will support all critical functions, working closely with the team leads within K-Star and investment professionals within the Firm’s Credit & Markets business. Some core responsibilities of the role will include assisting with settling trades and ensuring data integrity, overseeing multiple counterparties and vendors, providing continuous surveillance of data and working with servicers to ensure accuracy, managing risk to ensure successful cash remittances and early identification of problem assets, and internal and external reporting on the portfolio. Qualified candidates will also be expected to participate in special projects and assignments related to the growth of the platform.

Qualifications:

• Current undergraduate student with anticipated graduation date in December 2026 – June 2027
• Outstanding academic record
• Genuine interest in asset-backed finance, structured credit, and investing demonstrated through coursework, clubs, or prior experience
• Comfort using AI-powered tools to improve productivity and quality of work
• Quick learner with clear intellectual curiosity and self-motivation
• Excellent Communication skills
• Team-oriented
• Exceptional work ethic; strong attention to detail, sense of urgency, and ability to multi-task
• Demonstrated leadership ability
