Description
The AppleCare Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing the business across assigned AMR accounts and markets. Key responsibilities include: Own AppleCare sales results and strategic partner relationships for assigned carrier and device protection accounts, developing and executing account plans to achieve growth objectives. Develop new business opportunities and commercial propositions, building business cases and financial models that evaluate pricing, revenue, margin and partner economics. Leverage the AppleCare sell-through playbook to grow existing accounts, developing offers and growth plays across awareness, advocacy, merchandising, digital, retail, training and promotions. Use sales performance and customer journey insights to identify execution gaps, prioritize opportunities and scale successful initiatives across accounts. Lead complex commercial negotiations with carriers, insurers and other partners in collaboration with Apple Legal, Finance, Operations and other cross-functional teams. Serve as an AppleCare product and solutions expert, articulating AppleCare features, benefits and strategic value to internal teams and external partners. Represent AppleCare in partner and executive business reviews, communicating performance, opportunities, risks and recommended actions. Monitor the wireless and device protection marketplace and translate competitive, customer and industry developments into actionable growth opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications
Significant experience in business development, strategic partnerships, sales or commercial strategy. Demonstrated success developing and growing complex, multi-million-dollar commercial partnerships. Strong understanding of the U.S. and/or Canadian wireless, consumer electronics, retail or device protection ecosystem. Excellent negotiation, presentation, written and interpersonal communication skills. Strong quantitative and critical-thinking skills with the ability to synthesize data into clear recommendations and action plans. Self-starter with strategic vision, strong executional skills and the ability to operate effectively in ambiguity.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working directly with major U.S. or Canadian resellers. Experience in device protection, insurance, warranty or related service businesses. Experience developing subscription or recurring-revenue businesses and executing partner sell-through strategies. Proven ability to build relationships and influence senior stakeholders within complex, matrixed organizations.
