The Monitor Technician will be responsible for monitoring patient cardiac rhythms and notifying RNs or clinicians of any changes.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and hold a Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
Previous healthcare experience and knowledge of cardiac anatomy and medical terminology are preferred qualifications for this role.
The position requires availability for rotating weekend shifts, with work hours from 7 AM to 7:30 PM.

Responsibilities

The Monitor Technician is responsible for the ongoing surveillance of patient cardiac monitors/remote telemetry and provides RNs and/or clinicians with immediate notification of any changes in cardiac rhythms.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

High school diploma, equivalent education (GED) or post-secondary education.

Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification

PREFERRED

Knowledge of basic cardiac anatomy/physiology and medical terminology.

Previous health care experience.

Work Hours (EX:7AM-7PM):

7am-730pm

Weekend Requirements:

Yes- Rotating Basis
