What This Role Will Do


As a Senior Associate in Financial Valuation, you will lead valuation engagements by managing financial models, conducting complex analyses, and presenting findings to clients. You will supervise junior associates, review valuation methodologies, and ensure high-quality client deliverables. This role requires a strong foundation in business valuation, financial reporting, and transaction advisory, with opportunities for increased leadership and client interaction.

 

Key Responsibilities


  • Manage and execute business valuation, financial modeling, and transaction-related valuation engagements.
  • Review and refine valuation analyses prepared by associates to ensure technical accuracy.
  • Conduct fair value assessments for financial reporting, tax planning, and M&A transactions.
  • Oversee the preparation of valuation reports, fairness opinions, and solvency analyses.
  • Work directly with clients, attorneys, auditors, and investment professionals to support valuation engagements.
  • Mentor and train junior associates, helping develop their technical and analytical skills.

 

What Makes You Successful in This Role


  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business; MBA preferred.
  • Certifications: CFA, ASA, CPA, or ABV preferred.
  • 2-4 years in business valuation, investment banking, or financial consulting.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, valuation methodologies, and data analysis.
  • Experience with fair value reporting, intangible asset valuation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to supervise junior staff, manage projects, and engage with clients.
  • Strong presentation skills for communicating valuation results to senior stakeholders.
