Description


Position Overview:

Under the direction of the Director of Commercial Installations, the Installation Supervisor is an office-based role responsible for providing consistent daily operational coverage for an assigned region. The position works closely with sales, operations, Installation Specialists, third-party installation partners, and customers to coordinate and support approximately 450-550 commercial installations per month within the region. The Installation Supervisor keeps installations progressing efficiently and on schedule while maintaining company procedures, cost-effectiveness, and industry-leading quality and customer service standards. Responsibilities:


Daily Regional Installation Operations:

  • Remain office-based and provide consistent daily operational coverage for the assigned region.
  • Maintain oversight of approximately 450-550 installations per month within the assigned region and proactively keep each project moving toward successful completion.
  • Communicate daily with installation partners regarding scheduling, delivery coordination, site readiness, active installations, outstanding documentation, and open issues.
  • Provide sales teams with timely installation updates and communicate schedule changes, risks, and required actions.
  • Update and maintain installation trackers, calendars, vendor data logs, assignments, and related project records accurately and promptly.
  • Communicate directly with customers when needed to address scheduling, delivery, site-readiness, installation-status, or service questions.
  • Confirm site survey accuracy and follow up on customer site readiness before installation.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact during active Matrix commercial installations and provide real-time support to installation partners.
  • Coordinate support from logistics, sales, customer service, field service, and other internal teams when problems arise.
  • Follow up on proof-of-delivery (POD) documentation and installation issue submissions to ensure they are complete, accurate, and routed to the appropriate parties.
  • Escalate recurring, significant, or unresolved installation-partner performance issues to the Vendor Manager.
  • Monitor installation-partner performance, installation data, and installation-based KPIs; communicate trends and post-installation feedback to leadership.
  • Ensure installation pricing is accurate and cost-effective.
  • Coordinate and plan additional installation projects and assignments as required.

Customer Service Inquiries:

  • Work closely with Installation Service Specialists, sales staff, customer service, installation partners, and internal support teams.
  • Return customer calls and messages promptly and resolve open installation issues efficiently.

Marginal Job Functions:

  • Other projects as needed.


Requirements


Education:

  • Minimum high school diploma required
  • Technical College or practical applied experience preferred


Experience:

  • Understanding of logistics, installations, and project management
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Familiarity with layouts
  • Knowledge of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and TMS (Transportation Management Systems) 


Other Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing
  • Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously 
  • Strong attention to detail, multi-tasking, prioritizing, and organizational skills
  • Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook skills necessary
  • Understanding of geography
  • A valid driver’s license is required 
  • Position will be subjected to pre-employment and annual motor vehicle record (MVR) checks. Must be able to successfully pass MVR checks to drive on behalf of the company.
