We’re hiring CNC Machinists for our precision defense manufacturing facility in Corry, PA.

You’ll manufacture high-precision components using CNC lathes and mills in a precision machining environment supporting demanding defense programs. We have opportunities across both turning and milling, with several of our current openings focused on CNC turning.

We’re looking for machinists with a strong CNC foundation who are comfortable working from blueprints, inspecting their work, making machine adjustments, and producing quality components. Experience with setups, tooling, offsets, and programming is highly valued, with opportunities to continue developing those skills on the job.

Compensation

  • $23–$26/hr based on experience and machining capabilities
  • +$2/hr 2nd-shift differential
  • Overtime paid after 40 hours
  • Additional compensation may be considered based on experience

Responsibilities

  • CNC Machining: Operate CNC lathes and/or mills to manufacture precision defense components.
  • Machine Setups: Perform setups and changeovers based on job requirements and experience.
  • Tooling: Load, change, and monitor cutting tools throughout the machining process.
  • Machine Adjustments: Make offsets and process adjustments to maintain dimensional accuracy and part quality.
  • Quality Inspection: Perform first-piece and in-process inspections to verify components meet specifications.
  • Precision Measurement: Inspect machined components using precision measuring equipment.
  • Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and manufacturing instructions.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify machining, tooling, and dimensional issues and make appropriate adjustments.
  • Production: Maintain quality and productivity while supporting demanding defense production schedules.

Required

  • Previous CNC machining experience
  • CNC lathe and/or mill experience
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings and work instructions
  • Experience using precision measuring equipment
  • Ability to make basic machine and tooling adjustments
  • Ability to work 2nd shift
  • Strong attendance and stable employment history

  • CNC lathe or turning experience
  • Independent machine setup experience
