Overview

Electrical Technician – Industrial Maintenance

 

Location: Corpus Christi, Texas

Schedule: Monday-Friday with overtime as needed

 

We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Electrical Technician to support the maintenance, optimization, and troubleshooting of electrical systems. This role involves close collaboration with maintenance supervisors, electrical leads, and shift electricians to ensure reliable operations and strict adherence to safety protocols. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in electrical repair, system calibration, and equipment support, with a strong commitment to teamwork and operational excellence.

 

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and optimize electrical systems and equipment 
  • Assist in troubleshooting and repairing existing electrical infrastructure
  • Provide essential diagnostic and repair support
  • Collaborate with engineers on HMIs, PLCs, and drive systems
  • Verify and calibrate monitoring equipment to ensure accuracy and performance
  • Follow all safety procedures
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts and report system inefficiencies

 

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and reliable attendance
  • Prior experience in electrical maintenance within an industrial, manufacturing environment, or military experience
  • Basic computer proficiency for documentation and system interface
  • Willingness to work overtime and adapt to changing priorities
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills

 

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with hydraulic systems 
  • Basic understanding of PLCs and industrial automation
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
