Position Overview:We are seeking a Part Time Mechanic to join our dynamic team. This role involves executing maintenance and repairs on our diverse fleet of diesel and gas-powered vehicles and equipment. This role demands a detail-oriented, safety-conscious individual capable of managing a team and ensuring the reliability and functionality of our fleet.
Responsibilities
Perform routine and advanced maintenance and repairs on a wide range of diesel and gas-powered vehicles and equipment.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical issues in engines, fuel systems, transmissions, brake systems, wheel bearings, undercarriages, and engine performance.
Ensure all vehicles and equipment are in optimal working condition, minimizing downtime and maximizing operational efficiency.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities in accordance with company policies.
Complete service work orders through Aspire, ensuring all tasks are documented, tracked, and closed out in the system.
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and the team.
Work closely with other departments to ensure timely and efficient repair turnaround for vehicles and equipment.
Perform emergency repairs when needed to ensure the fleet remains operational at all times.
Qualifications
1 - 3 years of experience working on fleet vehicles and two cycle equipment.
Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with fuel systems, transmissions, brake systems, wheel bearings, undercarriage, and engine performance.
Ability to diagnose complex mechanical issues and develop effective solutions.
Proficiency in the use of diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or with minimal supervision.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
