Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Mobile Driver in Columbus, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal policy. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unusual conditions or access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence throughout the assigned location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
