What You'll Do

Key responsibilities include:

•  Lead instructor-led workshops, virtual classes, and hands-on lab sessions for new hires and existing employees

•  Create training manuals, digital learning modules, job aids, guides, and practical assessments

•  Use a Learning Management System (LMS) to track learner progress, assessment results, completion records, and feedback

•  Update courses and resources to reflect telecom advancements, software updates, equipment changes, and applicable safety standards

•  Answer technical questions and provide individual coaching or performance remediation when needed

•  Gather learner feedback and review assessment results to improve training content and delivery

•  Collaborate with technical leaders and subject matter experts to validate training accuracy and align instruction with operational needs

• Conduct on-site inspections to ensure installations are completed according to Socket Fiber’s standards

•  Maintain regular, reliable attendance

What We're Looking For

•  Working knowledge of fiber optic technology, installation practices, equipment, and field operations

•  Ability to develop and deliver instructor-led, virtual, and hands-on technical training

•  Strong public speaking, active listening, coaching, and facilitation skills

•  Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to different audiences

•  Experience using an LMS to manage training records and learner progress

What Will Help You Stand Out

Preferred Qualifications:

•  Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

•  Experience developing digital learning content, practical assessments, and technical job aids

•  Hands-on experience with fiber optic installation, fiber equipment, or field operations

•  Experience evaluating training effectiveness and improving content based on results and learner feedback

•  Ability to partner effectively with technical subject matter experts and operational leaders

•  Knowledge of fiber safety standards and evolving fiber industry technologies

Desired Attributes
