A Day in the LifeÂ
Your day may begin by reviewing training schedules, preparing equipment, and making sure course materials reflect current fiber technology and safety practices. You might lead a classroom workshop, facilitate a virtual session, or guide employees through a hands-on lab involving fiber optic systems, equipment, and field processes. Throughout the day, you'll answer technical questions, coach learners, track progress in the Learning Management System, and partner with subject matter experts to keep training practical, accurate, and relevant.Â

• Use a Learning Management System (LMS) to track learner progress, assessment results, completion records, and feedbackÂ
• Update courses and resources to reflect telecom advancements, software updates, equipment changes, and applicable safety standardsÂ
• Answer technical questions and provide individual coaching or performance remediation when neededÂ
• Gather learner feedback and review assessment results to improve training content and deliveryÂ
• Collaborate with technical leaders and subject matter experts to validate training accuracy and align instruction with operational needsÂ
• Conduct on-site inspections to ensure installations are completed according to Socket Fiber’s standards
• Maintain regular, reliable attendanceÂ
What We're Looking ForÂ
To be considered for this role, you'll need the following required qualifications:Â

• Strong public speaking, active listening, coaching, and facilitation skillsÂ
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to different audiencesÂ
• Experience using an LMS to manage training records and learner progressÂ
What Will Help You Stand OutÂ
Preferred Qualifications:Â
• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related fieldÂ
• Experience developing digital learning content, practical assessments, and technical job aidsÂ
• Hands-on experience with fiber optic installation, fiber equipment, or field operationsÂ
• Experience evaluating training effectiveness and improving content based on results and learner feedbackÂ
• Ability to partner effectively with technical subject matter experts and operational leadersÂ
• Knowledge of fiber safety standards and evolving fiber industry technologiesÂ
Desired AttributesÂ
