Job Summary:

This role is responsible for coordinating and supervising all warehouse activities of an assigned work team by directing assigned associates in the receiving, warehousing, and shipping of customer product in a manner consistent with service and cost objectives.   Activities include planning work schedules, organizing deliveries, executing plans, and supervising the warehouse activities of the warehouse to achieve Customer expectations, internal financial goals, while meeting Company’s Values expectations.

*This is a 2nd shift position.                                                

Essential Job Functions:

  • Ensure product is being shipped at the highest quality standards to provide superior satisfaction to Customers
  • Achieve Financial goals (labor & expenses) while maintaining a safe & hygienic/organized working environment
  • Achieve 99.5% case fill rate & 90% on-time by managing dock schedule and labor efficiency rates
  • Ability to follow direction for Continuous Improvement ideas
  • Train hourly Associates on job functions, powered industrial vehicles, and on Company policies
  • Lead and conduct inventory management tasks such as daily cycle counts, weekly/monthly physical counts.
  • Manage PIV/forklift asset and WH infrastructure care
  • Waste management scheduling
  • Supervise a Team of 10 hourly Associates
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Minimum Requirements:

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Minimum requirement of high school education, college degree preferred
  • 7+ years in manufacturing, including some experience in food and beverage industry 
  • 3+ years of supervising associates in a manual/batch processing environment

 

Additional Information:        

  • < 40 degrees for multiple hours of the day
  • Standing on your feet multiple hours of the day
  • Ability to drive a forklift and pull a pallet jack with a load
