Position Summary:

Reviewing and distributing work orders to Shipping Floor conferring with Shipping Supervisor to determine progress of work and completion times.

Position Responsibilities:

• Dispatch tickets to floor on a daily basis.
• Maintain dispatch log for accuracy.
• Invoicing process including, tripping, logging and ship confirm.
• Dock assistance; driving, wrapping, banding and tagging skids.
• Assist UPS; pull orders as needed.
• Pull Freight orders as needed.
• Assist Customer Service Technicians as needed.
• Other duties as assigned
   

Specific Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:

Effective time management, organizational and planning skills are essential
Critical thinking, decision making and problem-solving skills
Ability to work within a team or independently as needed
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Detail oriented and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Computer experience with MS Office

Position Qualifications:

Education: HS graduate or equivalent required

Experience: 1+ years of prior warehouse shipping experience

Experience in shipping scheduling environment preferred

Constantly - 6+ hours: Stand, Walk, Twist/Turn, Stoop/Bend, Squat, Kneel
Repetitively – 6 + hours: Lift to 75 lbs., team lift up to 110 lbs.
Occasionally - 1 to 6 hrs.: Reach above shoulders.
