*This is an in-office role.*

What you'll do:

  • Accurately process weekly and biweekly payroll for multiple states, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and timely entry of timesheets.
  • Run and audit payroll reports, identify discrepancies, and provide post-payroll processing and reporting.
  • Calculate and report on Davis Bacon Wages and Fringes
  • Maintain accurate employee data, including new hires, terminations, and other changes (such as direct deposit and tax updates).
  • Track and report payroll history, while posting payroll costs to job-related accounting.
  • Work closely with department managers and team members to ensure payroll accuracy, resolve any discrepancies, and ensure smooth operations.

 

What you'll bring to the table:

  • Proven experience as a Payroll Administrative or similar role with familiarity of multi-state payroll processes
  • Strong knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and compliance
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize information by analyzing critical issues and drawing accurate conclusions
  • Must demonstrate a high level of confidentiality in handling sensitive payroll and employee information, always ensuring discretion and compliance with privacy standards.
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent
  • Fundamental Payroll Certification is a plus, though not required
  • Familiarity with fringe benefits, certified payroll reporting, and scale rates is highly desirable
  • Experience using Great Plains (GP) is desirable but not required

  • Base Pay: $65k-$70k+ Commensurate with experience.  This range represents a general guideline; however, several factors are considered when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
