Senior Developer / Systems Engineer

Redan LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Developer / Systems Engineer to support business and technology modernization initiatives through the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of secure, scalable, and innovative software solutions.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in AWS / Azure and the Microsoft Power Platform, strong software engineering and systems integration skills, and a collaborative mindset. You must be comfortable working in an Agile environment and effective at partnering with technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership to deliver modern digital solutions that align with organizational goals.

What You'll Be Doing

As the Senior Developer / Systems Engineer at Redan, you will:

  • Design, develop, test, debug, and deploy software applications and systems that support business and operational objectives
  • Develop scalable, maintainable, and secure solutions using modern software engineering practices and design patterns
  • Participate in system architecture, technical design, and solution planning activities to ensure alignment with business requirements and enterprise standards
  • Validate data quality, accuracy, and integrity across multiple systems, platforms, and data sources
  • Develop and maintain integrations between Microsoft technologies and third-party platforms
  • Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles and automated testing methodologies throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Support functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing activities for both traditional and cloud-based applications
  • Support application and infrastructure security initiatives, including vulnerability remediation and continuous monitoring activities
  • Participate in security assessments, risk management activities, compliance initiatives, and governance efforts
  • Collaborate with security and operations teams to address security findings, incidents, and operational risks
  • Ensure solutions align with security, accessibility, governance, and organizational compliance standards

 

Profile of Success

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum 7 years of software development and systems engineering experience.
  • Ability to work closely with product owners, business analysts, architects, data teams, and stakeholders to define and implement technical solutions.
  • Participation in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Maintenance of technical documentation, system designs, deployment procedures, and operational guides.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks and software quality assurance methodologies.
  • Knowledge of cloud security, governance, and secure development best practices.
  • Experience supporting risk management, security assessments, compliance initiatives, or continuous monitoring programs.
  • Experience working within Agile (SAFe / Scrum / Kanban) environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
