Pay: $21.00 per hour
Location: Bethesda, MD
Schedule:

Monday–Friday | 4:00 AM–6:00 PM

and Saturday and Sunday 10:00 AM–6:00 PM


Join Our Team

We are looking for a dependable, caring, and dedicated Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide individualized support to a client in Bethesda, MD.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, is comfortable working one-on-one, and takes pride in promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life.

Your Responsibilities

As a DSP, you will:

  • Provide direct one-on-one support with daily activities and routines.
  • Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
  • Support community participation, recreational activities, appointments, and outings.
  • Assist with meal preparation, laundry, cleaning, and other household activities.
  • Encourage communication, social interaction, independence, and participation.
  • Provide appropriate behavioral support and redirection when necessary.
  • Administer medications as required and complete all medication-related documentation.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment.
  • Complete daily progress notes and incident reports accurately and on time.
  • Monitor the individual's health, safety, and overall well-being.
  • Communicate promptly with supervisors regarding concerns, incidents, or changes in the individual's condition.

Qualifications

Candidates should have:

  • DDA Core Training
  • CPR Certification
  • Bloodborne Pathogens Training
  • Mandt Training
  • CMT (Certified Medication Technician)
  • Valid Driver's License
  • A dependable, patient, compassionate, and professional attitude
