Utilize High performance computing (HPC). Serve as expert to identify critical/biological findings of experimental data and collaborate with other scientists, using sequence, (protein) structure, and statistics. Maintain proper and detailed documentation of the analysis performed and report results at lab meetings. Apply latest tools to De novo design small protein immunogens. Develop and apply in silico tools to analyze serology of HIV-infected individuals. 1 Design and apply in silico analysis tools providing biological insight of vaccine targets including (but not limited to) HIV-1, SARSCoV- 2 spike, Influenza, Dengue/Zika, SIV, Lassa virus and other emerging pathogens. Instruct staff in computational analysis of data. Collaborate with biologists, statisticians and/or other bioinformaticians in the design of models summarizing/explaining experimental data. 2 Present new research data in group settings, at meetings or seminars. 3 Meet with lab member to present updates. QualificationsBasic Qualifications: PhD in Mathematics, Statistics, Bioinformatics, or a related field.
