- 40 hours per week
- Monday–Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm
- Room patients and support providers during Weight Management and Metabolic Health visits
- Assist with care related to metabolic conditions, lifestyle modification, and medical weight loss programs
- Manage and work from multiple task bins related to patient care, authorizations, lab results, and follow-ups
- Document verbal conversations with patients when appropriate
- Accurately and timely document clinical information in the patient record
- Maintain efficient patient flow in a fast-paced specialty practice
- Prepare patients for visits, including vitals, medication reconciliation, and program-specific or metabolic health assessments
- Perform accurate and timely order entry into the laboratory system
- Process and manage patient prescriptions, including those related to weight and metabolic health treatment plans
- Discuss test results and care plans with patients per provider instructions
- Collaborate closely with providers and care team members to support patient engagement, education, and success in weight management and metabolic health programs

Compensation: $26.00 - $33.00 per hour

- Valid NYS LPN license.
- Previous LPN experience in a medical practice or prior experience as a Medical Assistant or Patient Care Tech.
- Strong computer skills with experience using EMR.
- Knowledge of basic nursing principles and protocols.
- Knowledge of policies and procedures related to infection control, environmental safety, and patient confidentiality.
- Maintain strictest confidentiality and discretion.
- Knowledge of medical chart reporting/records.
- Skill in appropriate assessment and assistance techniques.
