Summary: A Direct Support Professionals in the WOW program help promote independence and self-esteem to persons with disabilities by accompanying them into the community on a daily basis. Requirements: Education/Experience/Skills High school diploma or equivalent A valid NYS license and clean driving record. Computer Skills: able to use email; google suite; database systems Days & Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00PM Who we are: Wildwood Programs is a proud provider of educational, residential, employment, and other community-based supports to people with disabilities. Summary: Our Day Services program provides individuals the opportunity to participate in a variety of group activities throughout the day at a site or in the community. Successful candidates will have: The ability to interact with our individuals in a positive and encouraging way. A professional manner, patience, empathy and possess a strong desire to help others. An interest in taking an active role in by introducing individuals to community based and site-based activities that inspire growth. QualificationsOther Requirements A valid NYS driver's license and ability to drive and driving record acceptable for agency insurance coverage are required. Daily access to a vehicle. Ability to pass SCIP/CPR and be Med Certified Ability to Lift 50 lbs
