Birch Agency is seeking an Intervention Specialist to join our team!
We are looking for a passionate and dedicatedIntervention Specialistto work with a charter school in Cleveland, OHfor the 2026/2027 school year. This position will support students with disabilities in aResource/Pull-Out setting, providing targeted, small-group instruction and individualized support based on students' IEP goals.
Pay: $43$48 per hour | Negotiable based on experience and qualifications
The ideal candidate will be afully licensed Ohio Intervention Specialistwith a strong background in special education, experience implementing IEPs, and the ability to provide effective, differentiated instruction in a Resource setting.
Responsibilities:
Provide specially designed instruction in aResource/Pull-Out setting
Develop and implement individualized and small-group lesson plans aligned with students' IEP goals
Deliver instruction that supports students' academic and developmental needs
Implement accommodations and modifications outlined in students' IEPs
Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals
Use assessment and student data to guide instruction and interventions
Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of IEPs
Maintain accurate special education documentation and student records
Provide a positive, structured, and supportive learning environment
Differentiate instruction to meet the individual needs of diverse learners

Experience:
Previous experience working as an Intervention Specialist or Special Education Teacher
Experience providingResource/Pull-Out instruction strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
Experience providing specially designed instruction and differentiated learning
Strong classroom management and student-support skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with general education teachers and school staff
Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Commitment to supporting students with disabilities and helping them achieve their academic goals
Certifications:
Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist License REQUIRED
Candidate must befully certified/licensed as an Intervention Specialist in the State of Ohio
Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field required
Additional special education certifications or endorsements are a plus
