Quest Defense Systems and Solutions is actively hiring engineers to support C-130 aircraft production as an Operations Technical Specialist. We're looking for an experienced aviation professional to provide technical guidance, improve production processes, and support teams building and assembling aircraft.
In this role, you'll work alongside mechanics, production leads, supervisors, and manufacturing teams to share best practices, improve efficiency, and help deliver high-quality aircraft safely and on schedule.

Location: Open to candidates who are willing to travel or Clarksburg, WV (Onsite preferred)
Travel: Travel and onsite support may be required.
Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship required.

What You'll Do
- Provide technical support for C-130 aircraft production and assembly.
- Train and mentor mechanics, production leads, and supervisors.
- Support aircraft assembly, manufacturing, and production operations.
- Share best practices for aircraft systems, structures, tooling, and build processes.
- Help improve production quality, efficiency, and workflow.
- Identify production challenges and recommend practical solutions.
- Develop and deliver production training and knowledge-sharing activities.
- Work with manufacturing, quality, and leadership teams to support production goals.
- Promote a safe and quality-focused work environment.

Required Qualifications
- 20+ years of experience in aircraft manufacturing, aircraft assembly, aircraft maintenance, or aerospace production.
- 7+ years supporting C-130 aircraft production, assembly, modification, or sustainment.
- Strong knowledge of aircraft structures, mechanical assembly, and production operations.
- Experience training, mentoring, or supporting production teams.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- U.S. Citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a Production Lead, Lead Mechanic, Work Center Supervisor, or Manufacturing Supervisor.
- Experience with aircraft assembly, depot maintenance, modification, or sustainment programs.
- Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes and quality standards.
- Experience supporting continuous improvement or production process improvements.
