The Patient Accounting Representative bills claims electronically, verifies insurance and registration for patients, process, and mail paper claims.  The Billing and Claims team works several different professional billing workqueues and workqueue types in Epic. Candidates must be able to work independently and be able to physically complete demands of this job which include sitting, typing, using office materials, and the visual acuity to look at computer screens for a long period of time.

Qualifications

Minimum Required:  High School Diploma or GED. Preferred: Associate degree. | LICENSE & CERTIFICATION: N/A. | Minimum Required:  3 – 5 years of relevant experience in Revenue Cycle and/or Epic Revenue Cycle applications.
