Job DetailsJob Location: Cincinnati, OH 45231Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $48,800.00 - $73,200.00 SalaryCLINICAL LIAISON ROLE DESCRIPTION   Summary: Serves as a specialized clinical resource providing direct consultation and crisis support.  This role bridges direct clinical care and multi-system navigations supporting families in crisis, identifying community-based alternatives to residential placement, and managing high-acuity cases.   Essential Functions: Educates members and families about program services, ensuring understanding of the program, benefits and expectations. Collaborates with youth and families to identify immediate needs, strengths, and concerns, and make appropriate referrals that ensure support and stability (including in crises). Completes intake processes, assesses members’ needs, maintain a caseload for youth and families seeking care coordination, and input all documentation and assessments into applicable databases. Provide direct clinical consultation and guidance to Care Coordinators managing complex, high-acuity cases or families crisis. Facilitates and attend clinical staffing meetings for high-acuity cases to ensure appropriate safety planning, service delivery, and clinical oversight. Guide staff through processes to explore funding for residential treatment. Competencies:   Clinical Knowledge/ Therapeutic Skills and Techniques Therapeutic Relationship Written and Verbal Communication Ethical and Professional Conduct Collaboration Cultural Sensitivity and Diversity Critical Thinking and Problem Solving Technology Proficiency   Supervisory Responsibility: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.   Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment, but duties will also be carried out in a variety of settings including client homes, schools and in the community.  This role has hybrid work options which involve both remote and in-office work. Specific in-office days will be determined in coordination with the team and the needs of the business.  This can change or be altered by the manager at any time. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to standing, walking, handling objects, and reaching with hands and arms. Occasionally, the employee may need to lift or move items weighing up to 30 pounds.       Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: Hours will be worked within standard hours of operation for assigned site. The schedule will include evening, weekend or holidays hours to best meet the needs of clients and families. There is an on-call component to this role outlined as follows:   24 hours a day and 7 days a week as appropriate to meet the child's needs, who provides care within the scope of their practice as defined by State law. Accessible on-site or face-to-face via interactive videoconferencing based on the youth's needs. Travel: Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area travel may be expected based on client needs.   Required Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in human services or closely related field. At least one year of professional social service experience. Valid license and good driving record. LSW/LPC in the state of Ohio. Preferred Education and Experience: Master’s degree in human services or closely related field. Experience providing mental health case management services.   Additional Eligibility Qualifications:   Strong planning and organizational skills.
