Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Reporting in Chillicothe, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide outstanding customer service. Use clear communication and computer or tablet skills to support security-related operations while working with an agile, reliable, innovative Allied Universal team that puts people first, delivers through teamwork, and acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and document entries, observations, and incidents in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required reports.
• Observe for unusual conditions, equipment-related hazards, and policy concerns during patrols, and communicate findings to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
