Responsibilities:
Manage product strategy, roadmaps, business requirements, enhancements, launches, and lifecycle priorities across complex, interconnected product suites.
Conduct client and stakeholder discovery to understand business needs, end-user challenges, market opportunities, and emerging requirements that inform product strategy and prioritization.
Develop and communicate product vision, value propositions, positioning, and priorities that address market needs and create differentiated client value.
Translate client and business needs into product requirements, user personas, journeys, use cases, process flows, data models, and other documentation to guide product development.
Define minimum viable product features and prioritize features and epics by balancing client needs, business value, technical considerations, development capacity, cost, and time to market.
Partner with application development, agile, analytics, and data science teams throughout discovery, development, prototyping, testing, sprint reviews, and product delivery.
Lead cross-functional planning and execution for new product launches, releases, and enhancements in collaboration with sales, marketing, delivery, and other business teams.
Analyze product health, competitive intelligence, market research, client feedback, and win/loss insights to identify gaps and recommend product enhancements and new opportunities.
Coordinate user acceptance testing, product demonstrations, education, documentation, and ongoing communications to support successful product adoption and releases.
Partner with sales and marketing to develop product messaging, support client acquisition and retention strategies, and provide product expertise for active opportunities and RFPs.
Qualifications:
Relevant degree preferred.
5 or more years of relevant experience required.
Experience managing complex products or product portfolios throughout the product lifecycle.
Experience developing product strategies, roadmaps, business requirements, value propositions, and launch plans.
Experience translating client and market needs into product requirements, features, and strategic priorities.
Experience partnering with application development and agile teams to deliver technology-enabled products or solutions.
Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate product vision, priorities, and value across diverse audiences.
Experience with product discovery, market research, user acceptance testing, and product launch activities preferred.
Estimated Hiring Range:
At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $88,900.00 to $155,500.00.This position is also incentive eligible.
