How you’ll make an impact in this role

  • Lead daily clinical operations to ensure seamless unit workflows, high-quality patient assessments, and exceptional care delivery at every touchpoint.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing nursing team by driving recruitment, onboarding, professional development, and continuous education initiatives that empower your staff.
  • Define strategic department goals that align with broader health system objectives while maintaining the highest medical, legal, and ethical standards.
  • Manage unit resources and finances by developing and monitoring budgets to ensure your team has the essential tools and support to thrive.
  • Oversee continuous quality improvement by directing regular clinical audits and proactively addressing feedback to elevate the overall patient experience.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider preferred.
  • Registered Nurse preferred.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
  • Master's degree or combination of Bachelor's degree and experience preferred.

Work Experience:

  • 5 years of experience required.
  • 10 years of experience preferred.
  • 2 years of leadership or management experience required.
  • 5 years of leadership or management experience preferred.

What additional preferences we're seeking

  • Skilled nursing or long term care (LTC) experience
  • Wound care experience
