- Maintain strong internal controls, accounting policies, and documentation.
- Partner with external auditors, tax advisors, and other third-party providers as needed.
Cash & Treasury
- Own and maintain a rolling 13-week cash flow forecast, including scenario analysis and ongoing forecast-to-actual assessment.
- Monitor daily cash position and liquidity needs and proactively identify funding requirements.
- Partner with FP&A and executive leadership on cash planning, capital needs, and liquidity management.
Process Improvement & Systems
- Continuously identify opportunities to automate accounting processes, reduce manual work, and shorten the close cycle.
- Build scalable workflows and reporting using Sage Intacct, Brex, AmazonQuickSight, and advanced Excel.
- Improve integrations and data flows across accounting, treasury, and operational systems.
- Create a culture of process ownership in which recurring work is routinely challenged, simplified, and automated.
Industry Expertise
- Apply a strong understanding of healthcare receivables purchasing, specialty finance, factoring, or related asset-backed finance models.
- Oversee accounting considerations associated with purchased receivables, cash collections, portfolio activity, and related financing structures.
- Partner closely with operations and FP&A to ensure transaction and portfolio activity is reflected accurately in financial reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA strongly preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including meaningful ownership of close and financial reporting.
- Healthcare finance, receivables purchasing, factoring, specialty finance, or lending experience required.
- Advanced Excel skills and demonstrated ability to work with large, complex datasets.
- Strong Sage Intacct experience; experience with Brex and Amazon QuickSight strongly preferred.
- Experience building and managing a rolling 13-week cash flow forecast.
- Proven track record of automating accounting workflows and creating measurable process efficiencies.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and audit readiness.
What Success Looks Like

- Cash forecasting is accurate, actionable, and embedded in day-to-day decision-making.
- Accounting processes scale with company growth without unnecessary increases in manual effort.
- Finance systems are used effectively to reduce recurring work and improve data quality.
- Leadership has high confidence in financial reporting, liquidity visibility, and accounting controls.
