This role involves collecting and analyzing quality metrics, assisting in quality improvement projects, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Collect data, analyze, and provide reports to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement. Assist the QI Manager with designing, implementing, and evaluating quality improvement projects. Monitor the progress of quality improvement initiatives and provide regular updates to the QI Manager. Participate in internal and external audits to prepare necessary documentation. Support the development and revision of policies and procedures to align with best practices. Conduct training sessions for staff to promote a culture of continuous improvement. Assist the QI Manager with the development and implementation of risk assessments to proactively identify and mitigate potential issues. Collaborate with peers to create and monitor QI registries/dashboards. Work closely with healthcare providers, administrators, and other stakeholders to promote quality improvement efforts. Performs other duties as assigned Travel may be required QualificationsEducation/Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in Quality Improvement within a healthcare setting. High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in health care administration, Public Health, Social Work, Business Administration, Economics, or related field preferred. Skills: Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools. Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, and sit. The employee is occasionally required to move around the facility; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb, balance, stop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
