CDL Groundsman

Position Summary: We are seeking a dependable CDL Groundsman to join our tree care team. This position supports tree crews by performing ground operations, operating equipment, maintaining a safe work environment, and transporting crews and equipment to job sites. The ideal candidate has a valid CDL, enjoys working outdoors, and is committed to safety and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist tree crews with ground operations during tree trimming and removal projects.
• Operate and maintain chippers, chainsaws, and other equipment safely.
• Drive and maneuver CDL-required vehicles and equipment to and from job sites.
• Load, unload, and transport tools, materials, and debris.
• Direct traffic and establish safe work zones as needed.
• Perform daily vehicle and equipment inspections.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety policies and industry standards.

Qualifications:

• Valid CDL (Class A or B preferred).
• Clean driving record and ability to meet DOT requirements.
• Experience in tree care, landscaping, construction, or outdoor labor is preferred.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
