Maintenance Machine Repair Technician – 3^rd Shift

Sheridan is hiring a Machine Repair Technician to support production equipment and facility operations. This is a 3^rd shift role (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM) This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and experience in a manufacturing environment.

 What You’ll Do:

• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical breakdowns.
• Maintain, alter, rebuild and adjust equipment and facilities to include fabricating parts and assemblies.
• Follow up on and study recurring facility-oriented failures in an effort to find solutions.
• Attend to RTU air conditioners, filter changes, wash condensers, tighten belts.
• Maintain an inventory of supplies and materials necessary for the operation of the building and manufacturing.
• Wood working projects.

What We’re Looking For:

We are open to candidates from a variety of industrial maintenance environments, including manufacturing outside of print. Requirements include: 

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of mechanical technician experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Understand Lock-Out-Tag-Out.
• Ability to thread pipe and solder copper pipes.
