This is the setting for Keswick Hall, an impressive 80-room luxury boutique hotel nestled on 600 acres which recently re-opened in 2021 after renovations. Home to the prestigious Keswick Golf Club, Marigold Restaurant, by Jean-Georges, a new luxury spa and sports and aquatics center.
The Catering Sales & Events Coordinator is a key operational role at Keswick Hall, responsible for ensuring effective and efficient communication from sales to all operational departments as well as providing outstanding customer service.
This position reports directly to the Associate Director of Catering and works closely with the Director of Banquets and Special Events to support group event bookings and execution while actively helping to drive revenue across the property. This role is highly collaborative and serves as the operational bridge between the Sales, Banquets, Culinary, and Restaurant teams.
Responsibilities
- BEO and Resume Communication and Event Collateral Review and audit all BEOs
- Maintaining an up-to-date BEO Board in banquets and other applicable outlets
- Maintain prompt communication of a change log
- Identifying any adjustments to group Resumes
- BEOs, and Menus Assist Sales and Catering teams in Tripleseat document creation, review, and distribution
- Develop and maintain BEO boards for Club events and Marigold Events
- Setup weekly BEO Meeting Calendar Invitation
- Assisting creating and printing signage, menus, and other collateral needed for events
- Internal Event Documentation and Execution Build, monitor, and manage BEOs and Resumes for Keswick Club events
- Communicating directly with internal stakeholders in each area
- Serve as on-site point of contact for Keswick Club and internal events as needed
- Achieve Revenue Goals through large-party bookings in Marigold
- Communicate with clients and book large parties (10 or more) in Marigold
- Work with Marigold FOH team to establish effective policies for large party bookings
- Assist Sales team with all group booking requests in Marigold
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management
- Business Administration, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience in a luxury hotel/resort
- 1-3years of experience in hotels or food and beverage
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external clients
- Flexible to work weekends or holidays as needed for business
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines with accuracy
- Guest-first mindset with strong problem-solving ability
