Job DetailsLevel: ManagementJob Location: Charlotte - Charlotte, NC 28216Position Type: Full TimeJob Category: WarehouseThe Warehouse Manager is the lead for all daily warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and returns. He or she is responsible for all logistical planning and implementation.  The ideal candidate for this position has a college degree and at least three years of experience in warehouse operations and logistics. Effective oral and written skills, good time management skills, and professional dress, speech, and behavior are all required for this position. Knowledge of flooring products is desired, but not required.  RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensures compliance with all safety regulations, applicable federal and state laws and all company policies Works with internal departments to ensure adequate stock Oversees handling, storing, and assignment of stock Helps with warehouse layout optimization including both New Home Construction inventory and Commercial inventory Ensures that all required reports are accurate and timely Initially will handle all freight and must be able to operate forklift and lift up to 75lbs You may have to drive a box truck or sprinter van and will need a clear and valid drivers license BENEFITS: Bi-weekly payroll via direct deposit Eligible to participate in group health, dental & vision insurance plans after 60 days full-time employment Supplemental life, accident, cancer and short-term disability insurance available after 60 days full-time employment Retirement Plans: Employee Stock Ownership Plan and 401(K) with match Paid Time Off (PTO) from first day of employment Qualifications Experience in supervising and managing staff Excellent computer and Microsoft Office skills Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects (up to 75 lbs) as needed Forklift license (or willing to obtain license)
