Job Overview:
LPL Financial is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to design, develop, and deliver modern web applications and services that support advisor self-service experiences. This role will leverage .NET Core, AWS, Angular, PostgreSQL, and cloud-native technologies to build scalable, resilient, and high-performing solutions. The engineer will collaborate closely with architecture, product, data, DevOps, and quality assurance teams to modernize platforms and deliver business value through innovative technology solutions.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, and implement technical solutions aligned with business requirements and strategic objectives.
Develop and deploy cloud-native solutions using AWS services and best practices.
Partner with architecture, product, data, and business stakeholders to support platform modernization initiatives.
Own end-to-end solution design, implementation, code quality, and sprint execution activities.
Collaborate with peer engineering teams and support organizations to ensure successful production deployments.
Work closely with quality assurance and DevOps teams to ensure compliance with SDLC and release management processes.
Apply software engineering best practices, architectural standards, and cloud modernization principles throughout the development lifecycle.
Identify and implement opportunities to improve platform performance, scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency.
Develop and integrate applications using C#, .NET, AWS, and service-based architectures.
Build and maintain RESTful APIs and service-oriented backend solutions.
Communicate technical solutions, project status, and risks effectively to team members and stakeholders.
Design applications with a focus on resiliency, scalability, and performance.
Create prototypes and proof-of-concept solutions using development tools such as Visual Studio.
What Are We Looking For?

Requirements:
Minimum 7 years of experience designing and implementing complex systems using the .NET technology stack and web services (REST/SOAP).
Experience with .NET, C#, JavaScript, CSS3, Angular, JSON, REST services, SQL Server, and Node.js development.
Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and/or SQL Server, including stored procedures, views, indexes, and performance tuning.
Experience developing and maintaining unit tests.
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills in software engineering environments.
Preferences:
Understanding of service-oriented architecture (SOA), code architecture patterns, and software design principles.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience with .NET Framework 4.8.
Hands-on experience integrating multiple application platforms using C#, .NET, and AWS.
Experience designing and implementing RESTful backend services.

Pay Range:
$106,100.00 - $176,900.00

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
