Our Project Manager 3 serves as a senior leader within the Commercial Division, driving excellence across high-value, complex multi-family and commercial jobs. This individual combines technical expertise in drywall and paint with the leadership skills to inspire teams, deliver superior results, and strengthen partnerships that reflect Stancil’s commitment to integrity and craftsmanship. As a mentor and client-facing professional, the PM-3 plays a strategic role in elevating team performance, enhancing client satisfaction, and advancing the company’s mission of quality-driven growth. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Provide leadership and mentorship to PM-1s and PM-2s ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS • Project Leadership o Lead high-profile and complex commercial projects from planning to close-out. o Manage performance, budgets, schedules, and client relationships to ensure project success. o Act as the primary liaison for key builder and general-contractor partnerships. • Team and Operational Excellence o Provide leadership and guidance to PM-1s and PM-2s through effective communication and coaching. o Partner with field operations to ensure smooth coordination between job sites and office teams. o Uphold and advance Stancil Services’ operational standards for safety, quality, and client care. • Strategic Improvement o Support strategic planning and continuous improvement efforts across the Commercial Division. o Contribute to initiatives that strengthen efficiency, team performance, and customer satisfaction. • Other related duties as assigned. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred; or equivalent relevant experience. • 5+ years of progressive project-management experience in commercial drywall and paint. • Proven leadership on large-scale, multi-family, or mixed-use developments. • Strong client-facing skills with the ability to cultivate and sustain long-term partnerships. • Mastery of Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Excel. • Demonstrated mentorship mindset and a “lead-by-example” approach. • Advanced financial acumen and risk-management capability. WORKING ENVIRONMENT AND CONDITIONS • Primarily based in an office setting with frequent travel to active construction sites. • Exposure to variable weather conditions, noise levels, and construction activity during field visits. • Must be able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. • Requires analytical thinking, decisive leadership under pressure, and the ability to guide teams through complex challenges. • Must be able to sit, stand, walk, climb stairs/ladders, and navigate construction sites as needed. • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally and operate a computer or office equipment for extended periods. • Occasional early mornings, evenings, or extended hours may be required based on project demands. • Travel between job sites, client offices, and company locations as needed. • Reasonable accommodations will be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
