Truliant’s mission is to improve lives by putting our members first, providing great service and straightforward financial solutions. Our core values of Member Focus, Service, Guidance, Relationships, and Community define how we interact with members to fulfill our mission of improving lives and providing a foundation on which we conduct ourselves.

Our Promise to Our Teammates: Truliant strives to provide all teammates with an enjoyable place to work where they feel valued, empowered and rewarded for all that they do.

Why this role matters

At Truliant Federal Credit Union, our mission is to improve members’ financial lives, and our branches are where that mission comes to life every day. As a Branch Manager, you’ll lead the team that helps members feel welcomed, supported, and confident while also driving branch performance and growth.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys coaching people, building relationships in the community, and creating a branch experience that makes a meaningful difference for both members and team members.

What you’ll do

In this role, you’ll own daily branch leadership, team performance, member experience, and business development. You’ll balance hands-on operations with coaching, planning, and partnership-building so your team can deliver strong service, meet goals, and operate with integrity.

Day to day, you’ll:

  • Lead, coach, and develop branch team members so they can meet service, sales, referral, and operational expectations.

  • Drive branch performance by creating and executing plans for member service, loan and deposit growth, outbound calling, business development, and budget management.

  • Support excellent member experiences by resolving escalations, strengthening relationships, and ensuring branch practices align with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Beyond that, your work will include collaborating with internal partners, building connections with local businesses and community organizations, improving how the branch operates, and contributing to the overall success of Truliant’s member-focused culture.

What you bring

We’re looking for a branch leader who can combine people leadership, financial services knowledge, sound judgment, and a strong commitment to member service. You’ll be most successful here if you are comfortable coaching others, making thoughtful decisions, and staying engaged in both the day-to-day details and the bigger picture of branch growth.

This role is a great fit if you have:

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of related management experience.

  • Experience leading, coaching, and mentoring employees to improve results.

  • Experience building community relationships and/or partnerships with local businesses or organizations.

Required Skills:

• Communicate clearly and professionally in English, both verbally and in writing.

• Coach team members, resolve member concerns, manage conflict, and lead through change.

• Apply an advanced understanding of credit union operations, financial products, services, delivery systems, policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements.

• Recognize member relationship opportunities and guide conversations that support members’ financial goals.

• Interpret financial statements, analyze information, solve problems, and make sound decisions in a goal-oriented branch environment.

• Use Microsoft Word and Excel at an intermediate level or higher, stay organized, manage multiple priorities, and complete assignments with minimal supervision.

Education/Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.

  • National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration under the SAFE Act of 2008 required.

  • Notary appointment required within 3 months of hire.

You should also be comfortable working in a branch environment that may include standing, walking, bending, stooping, sitting at a desk for long periods, using a computer, and occasionally lifting or moving up to 10 pounds.

What sets you apart

You don’t need to check every box, but here’s what will help you thrive in this role:

  • Retail banking service, sales, and lending management experience.

  • A track record of proactive business development, outbound calling, and growing member relationships.

  • Experience creating branch business plans, managing controllable expenses, and supporting onboarding or development across more than one location.

What you’ll get

We believe in supporting our team members both professionally and personally.

In this role, you can expect:

  • The opportunity to lead a branch team that directly supports Truliant’s mission of improving members’ financial lives.

  • Meaningful leadership work that blends coaching, member service, business development, and community connection.

  • A culture that values professionalism, service, integrity, and collaboration.

  • Room to grow as a leader by developing team members, strengthening branch performance, and building relationships that support members and the local community.
