Summary:
The Associate - Corporate, Specialty and Government Banking PM - Licensed supports the CSG Credit Products team and ongoing portfolio management and underwriting activities. In this role, the associate will build upon the foundation set as an Analyst in areas such as cash flow analysis and modeling, capitalization, industry research, credit policy and legal documentation, among others, in analyzing and summarizing the creditworthiness of clients and prospects. The Associate will also frequently collaborate with internal partners including Relationship Management, Credit Administration, Capital Markets, and other product partners in creating such analysis. The Associate position is a developmental role for colleagues seeking a career in Portfolio Management; but may also be constructive for a colleague seeking a path to Relationship Management, Credit, Capital Markets, or many other Commercial roles within the Bank.Â
Duties & Responsibilities:
Gather and analyze financial and business information to determine creditworthiness for loan and credit products.
Complete financial spreads, risk rating, performance tearsheets, compliance testing, and other portfolio monitoring & maintenance activities
Underwrite complex commercial loans in accordance with Huntington credit policies. This may include financial statement analysis, collateral analysis, financial modeling, industry and business risk evaluation and management assessment.
Conduct industry and market research using numerous resources available; distilling key themes and conclusions into concise summary form for presentation purposes.
A more experienced Associate may be assigned direct portfolio management coverage responsibilities, typically with the oversight of a Director level PM.
Assist with training and/or mentoring Analyst level colleagues.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree required (Finance, Accounting, or related field)
FINRA Series 63 and 79 licenses, or must take and pass the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam, Series 63 and 79 exams to obtain series 63 and 79 licenses within 4 months of hire.
2 – 4 years of experience in an underwriting or commercial banking environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (particularly Microsoft Excel)

Compensation Range:
$63,000 - $124,000 AnnuallyThe compensation range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and education.  Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.  In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).Â
