Job DetailsLevel: ExperiencedJob Location: Charleston WV - Charleston, WV 25311Position Type: Full TimeThe Charleston, WV office of Modjeski and Masters, Inc., is seeking a Senior CADD Technician, with at least 10 years of bridge engineering drafting experience. What We’re Looking For  Associate's degree in engineering Drafting and Design (Preferred) CADD Technician with a minimum of 10 years of bridge engineering drafting experience. WVDOH bridge experience preferred. Knowledge of MicoStation drafting software Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and other team members Ability to effectively receive and convey ideas and information with co-workers and other team members Ability to acquire new knowledge and skills relevant to assignments. Ability to provide technical and work process training, direction, or guidance to other drafting staff. What You’ll Do Establishes and manage CADD work, plans, and special assignments. Train and mentor less experienced staff and technicians. Lead development of project plan deliverables for transportation projects such as bridges and highways. Create original drawings and designs; layout complete plan sets independently. Coordinate drafting efforts for multiple concurrent projects. Calculate quantities, including reinforcement, with limited direction. Review the work of other drafting staff to ensure satisfactory completion, correct representation, and adherence to the WVDOH’s standards. Acquire and apply new knowledge to assignments and tasks.
