About the Role:
Fin & Crab is looking for a reliable and hardworking Maintenance Worker to join our team in Charleston, SC! This is a hands-on role where you'll play a vital part in keeping our restaurant running smoothly, safely, and looking its best every day.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs throughout the restaurant facility
- Inspect and maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and kitchen equipment systems
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repair needs
- Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of dining areas, restrooms, kitchen, and exterior grounds
- Identify and report safety hazards, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Perform light carpentry, painting, and general facility upkeep tasks
Requirements:
- Prior experience in restaurant, commercial, or facilities maintenance preferred
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repair techniques
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, self-motivated attitude
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks requiring standing, bending, and climbing
- Reliable, dependable, and a strong team player in a fast-paced environment
