WHAT WE NEED

Transworld Electric is seeking Apprentice Electricians with at least one year of hands-on electrical field experience to support commercial electrical construction projects.

This opportunity is best suited for apprentices who have already developed a foundation in the electrical trade and are ready to continue building their skills in commercial electrical construction. You should be comfortable performing basic electrical tasks without constant supervision while continuing to learn from experienced electricians and foremen.

This is not an entry-level electrical apprentice position.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Assist electricians and foremen with commercial electrical installations and job site activities
  • Install boxes, receptacles, switches, lighting, and other electrical components
  • Assist with conduit installation, wire pulls, and electrical rough-in
  • Perform basic electrical tasks independently after receiving direction
  • Read and follow basic electrical drawings, layouts, and job instructions
  • Load, unload, organize, and maintain tools, materials, and equipment
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
  • Work alongside experienced electricians and foremen while continuing to develop your electrical skills

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on electrical field experience required
  • Commercial electrical construction experience preferred
  • Ability to install basic electrical components such as receptacles, switches, and boxes without constant supervision
  • Basic experience with conduit, wire pulling, and electrical installations
  • Your own basic electrical hand tools
  • Basic understanding of electrical materials, tools, and job site practices
  • Ability to follow direction and work effectively as part of a crew
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to safety, teamwork, and professionalism
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical job duties
  • Valid driver's license
  • High school diploma or GED preferred

Compensation ranges may vary based on individual experience. Final offers may differ from the posted range depending on a candidate’s skills, experience, qualifications, geographic location, and the specific role offered. This role includes overtime and double time eligibility in addition to the base rate.
