UDR is seeking qualified candidates for a Cloud Security Professional opportunity in Charleston, West Virginia.


Description

Key Responsibilities
Build Guardrails: Create automated security controls and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) to prevent misconfigurations.
Manage Access: Oversee Identity and Access Management (IAM) and secure authentication policies.
Monitor Threats: Review audit logs, analyze security alerts via SIEM tools, and respond to cloud incidents.
Ensure Compliance: Validate adherence to frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, or NIST.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Scripting & IaC: Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Terraform.
Certifications: Popular credentials include the ISC2 CCSP or AWS Certified Security - Specialty.
Experience: Usually, 3 to 5+ years in IT, systems administration, or general cybersecurity.
Cloud Security Professional must have a mm1mum of five (5) years of experience in Information Security, with at least three (3) years specifically focused on Cloud Security

Cloud Security Professional must have three (3) years of experience implementing Identify and Access Management (1AM), encryption (KMS), and network security groups.

Cloud Security Professional must have a mm1mum of two (2) years of experience with cloud compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, HIPAA, SOC2) and automated security auditing tools.

Cloud Security Professional must have experience in DevSecOps practices and integrating security into the CI/CD pipeline.
