POSITION SUMMARY 

Magnus is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead contractor performance for a DHS Section 508 Accessibility Support Services program. The Project Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for the Government and will oversee contract administration, staffing, task execution, deliverables, reporting, quality, risks, and personnel training. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Manage all contractor activities performed under the Statement of Work. 
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the Contracting Officer and Contracting Officer’s Representative. 
  • Coordinate the performance of accessibility testing, document remediation, technical assistance, training, help desk, reporting, and operational-support activities. 
  • Manage project schedules, personnel assignments, deliverables, risks, issues, and performance requirements. 
  • Develop and maintain a staffing plan addressing recruitment, retention, personnel replacement, roles, responsibilities, and technical skill levels. 
  • Track personnel certifications, professional-development activities, training deadlines, and completion status. 
  • Incorporate personnel training status into monthly project reporting. 
  • Prepare and submit accurate and timely project-management reports and deliverables. 
  • Monitor performance and implement corrective actions when necessary. 
  • Ensure continuity of support and coordinate qualified replacement personnel when required. 
  • Participate in meetings, briefings, presentations, events, and other activities requiring contractor support. 
  • Ensure that presentation and event materials are accurate, accessible, and delivered on schedule. 
  • Maintain effective communication with DHS stakeholders and contractor personnel. 
  • Respond to Government requests for technical discussion or problem resolution within 24 hours. 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 

  • At least three years of experience managing projects of similar size and complexity. 
  • Demonstrated experience managing personnel, schedules, deliverables, risks, and project reporting. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Government leadership, technical personnel, and contractor staff. 
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet established deadlines. 
  • Availability by telephone between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time, Monday through Friday. 
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Experience managing Federal Government contracts or task orders. 
  • Experience supporting Section 508, digital accessibility, or information technology programs. 
  • Familiarity with accessibility testing, document remediation, ICT governance, or accessibility training. 
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS 

  • Must satisfy applicable DHS suitability and Entry on Duty requirements. 
  • Must comply with DHS security, privacy, conduct, and information-protection requirements. 
  • Must be able to work remotely and report onsite to DHS/TSA Headquarters in Springfield, Virginia, if requested.
