SanTan Brewing Company is looking for Catering Servers, Bartenders and Captains to join our team in Chandler, AZ.

Located in the Phoenix metro’s East Valley, SanTan was founded in 2007 in downtown Chandler, where we continue to operate a 15-bbl brewery & restaurant in our original location. In 2013, we added a production facility with a 50-bbl brewhouse, where we package beer in both cans and draft. SanTan branched out into distilled spirits in 2017 and in 2019 expanded to include Spirit House; a cocktail-driven bar with a delicious food menu, lounge-like atmosphere and knowledgeable, approachable staff. A clear departure from the standard craft cocktail bar, Spirit House aims to demystify the world of distilling and flavor pairing through friendly education and quality service. Responsibilities

• Main objective is to assist sales team to increase sales of SanTan catered events including weddings, private dining, off premise, rehearsal dinners and corporate functions.
• Duties include assisting sales team in completing paperwork (BEO’s), sending out finalizations for events, ordering linens and rental equipment, booking / conducting tastings.
• Reports to Catering Director
• Ensures each department has updated BEO’s and paperwork including the kitchen
• Updates BEO’s with minor changes client has made
• Prepare and send out correspondence concerning function contracts and terms and conditions
• Assists in gathering guaranteed attendance numbers
• Assists with property site visits with clients
• Assists with the preparation of Sales Promotions
• Attends open houses as the face of the catering department
• Check into events to ensure timeline, policies and procedures are being followed
• Print copies of BEO’s weekly for Kitchen and FOH catering
• Email captains a copy of their BEO prior to their event date with any pertinent notes attached
• Ensures that all BEO's are maintained according to spec's.
• Assists servicing banquets if required
• Ensure proper business attire
• Telemarketing and email to previous clients to inquire about possible future bookings
• Ensure SanTan policies and procedures are being followed
• Organize catering Area throughout the week
• Answer incoming telephone calls for catering inquiries.
• Responds to all event inquiries daily by determining client's needs and specifications.
• Booking, paperwork (BEO’s), staffing, management of events & follow up are daily duties assigned to this role
• Maintain inventory of catering supplies.
• Ensures that all catered functions are "tie-down" 48 hours in advance (guarantees, floor Plans, entertainment, flowers, A/V etc..
• Establishes rapport with clients and functions.
• Communicate effectively with all departments·
• Ensure each client receives finalization information upon booking
• Conducts food tastings and provides rundown of tasting to client within 24 hours
• Handles property sites with clients
• Attends events as the face of SanTan to ensure proper policies and procedures are sought through
• Special projects as assigned, Sales + Administrative duties as required by the Catering Department

• Workweek is 40 hours per week varying each week due to schedule of events.

Education:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience:

• Catering: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
• Food Safety Certificate (Required)
• AZ Title IV: Responsible Alcohol Serving Certification (Preferred)
