IT Systems Analyst II

Job Type: Full-time, Hourly
Purpose: The Systems Analyst will be part of the IT Team, reporting to the IT Director and supporting the network and all applications, but will integrate with the Operations Team and may report to the Operations Director on special projects. The primary function of the Systems Analyst is to fully understand and support their assigned systems, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, maintenance, upgrades, and advanced features. They are expected to have advanced knowledge of their systems and general knowledge of all other systems and applications, sufficient to aid in Tier I troubleshooting or multi-system issue resolution. Systems Analyst will split their time between their designated office and time in the clinics as required for application support and projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Work Tier II systems and network service tickets. Create and escalate tickets as needed.
· Escalate issues and engage vendors. Manage issue through to resolution.
· Create training materials. Provide end user instruction on specific systems.
· Manage application and systems upgrades, coordinating with teams to plan and implement.
· Understand system security and work as part of cyber security team to ensure best practice.
· Examine application and systems usage and suitability. Recommend improvements.
· Frequent and routine visits to clinics and meetings with application champions
· Perform administrative and supporting duties as directed by IT or Operation Director
Qualifications:
· Positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills.
· Excellent organizational and communication skills
· Capable of self-management, prioritizing tasks, reporting, and documentation
· Critical thinking and problem resolution skills
· A disposition for working on time sensitive issues in a busy environment.
· Working knowledge of Google apps
· Strong knowledge of Healthcare environment and workflow
· Expert knowledge of HIPAA
· 8 years’ experience with specific applications or similar applications
· Expert directory management skills: AD, Azure, LDAP, Group Policy
· Expert Network Layer 1 to 4 skills: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SSH, SMTP, Ethernet, switches, routers
· Expert hardware skills: troubleshoot anything with a power plug
· Strong server skills: Windows Server, virtual machines, hosted server platforms
· Strong SQL DBA Skills
· Strong cybersecurity skills: firewalls, endpoint protection, authentication, certificates
· IT BS or similar education or certifications a plus
