This spring opportunity is 14 weeks long from late-January to late-April. It is full-time hours during normal business hours, Monday - Friday. Students usually take a semester off for a commitment like this.

You will report to a manager and build relationships with key leaders and team members in all areas of finance.Ā

Responsibilities:Ā
UsesĀ multiple financial tools to produce a variety of analyses.Ā
ProactivelyĀ identifiesĀ unique problems and seeks help to resolveĀ them, if necessary.Ā
Responsible for adherence to the company's framework of internal controls.Ā
Conducts businessĀ processĀ and dataĀ analysis to alignĀ high-level requirements toĀ business initiatives.Ā
Prepares āas isā and ācurrent stateā documentation in written and graphical form (flows).Ā
Facilitates the elicitation of business and systems requirements.Ā Ā
Develop new or revised processes or procedures in lieu of system development.Ā
Analyze business unit requests andĀ documentĀ business requirements, work with various technical staff members toĀ determineĀ possible solutionsĀ and communicate business and systemĀ impactsĀ management.Ā
AnalysisĀ business dataĀ andĀ transformation rules, documentĀ requirements, and prepare documentation as needed forĀ technicalĀ teams.Ā Ā Ā
Prepare documentation for business and system requirements in various formats.Ā
Work onĀ project teamsĀ to provideĀ business and data analysisĀ onĀ moderately complex information systems.Ā Includes documentation of business/system requirements and data transformation rules.Ā
Conduct research and analysis to quantify business opportunitiesĀ andĀ mayĀ developĀ formal recommendationsĀ toĀ management.Ā
UtilizeĀ project management methodologies to support a systems developmentĀ methodologyĀ to meet project deliverables.Ā
Provide test scenarios or test criteria based on knowledge gained through business and systems analysis.Ā Ā May provide approval or quality check on test plans or test matrix.Ā Ā
Serve as a liaison to business unitsĀ when gathering requirements.Ā

Qualifications:Ā
To qualify for an internship, applicants must be currently enrolled at a college or university pursuingĀ an accounting, finance, business analytics, or other analytical-type degree.Ā Internships are not available for students who have completed their college education or who will graduate prior to the conclusion of the internship.Ā
Working knowledge of Microsoft suite of products (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)Ā
Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ā
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Ā
Analytical and problem-solving skills.Ā
Preferred knowledge of AWSĀ (but notĀ required).Ā

Rewards & Compensation:Ā
The salary for this position is $21.00 per hour.Ā Please note that the salary range is a good faith estimate for this position and actual starting pay is determined by several factors including qualifications, experience, geography, work location designation (in-office, hybrid, remote), and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
