Veterinary Technician Externship

At Quartet Veterinary Specialty Hospital, our veterinary technician externship offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, collaborative specialty veterinary hospital environment. Externs are exposed to a diverse range of cases and work alongside experienced veterinary technicians, veterinarians, and specialty teams while supporting patient care, diagnostics, and treatment services across multiple disciplines.

 

This externship is designed to help students build clinical confidence, strengthen technical skills, and gain valuable real-world experience in veterinary specialty medicine. Through observation, mentorship, and participation in daily hospital operations, externs gain meaningful insight into the teamwork and standards of care required in a high-quality specialty practice.
