POSITION SUMMARY
The employee in this position is responsible for providing superior service to both internal and
external guests. All employees are required to practice customer courtesy skills to ensure our guests'
receive a remarkable experience. Hotel Supervisor provides work direction to all hotel staff. All hotel
employees are responsible for providing a safe and secure environment to all guests and employees
working for Century, as well as safeguarding company assets. This position will also oversee all
hourly hotel positions.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following statements are general examples of the duties of this position and are not all-inclusive
- Maintain PAR levels for all inventory including Sundry, Linens, Terry, Disposable
- Amenities, ETC.
- Responsible for the supervision and successful performance of all hotel employees.
- Respond to guest complaints by taking corrective action within authorized limits.
- Recognize and address service needs, maintenance, etc.
- Assist in the training of new employees, handles employee complaints and problems.
- Instruct assigned personnel on safety policies and procedures: reports all safety hazards to the
appropriate department and follow up to ensure hazards have been eliminated.
- Contacts IT, Housekeeping or Maintenance staff when guests report problems.
- Capable of cleaning rooms and able to operate the front desk.
- Corrects errors and discrepancies on guest accounts and resolves guest complaints.
- Adheres to all gaming laws and regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands:
- Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods, use a computer for prolonged periods,
occasionally walk the property.
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 15-25 lbs.
- Must be able to work in varied temperatures and noise levels
Mental Demands:
- Must be able to use various computer software programs such as Opera Cloud for PMS, Pegasis for CRS and Onity for keys.
- Must be able to meet and establish deadlines.
- Must be able to see the big picture while focusing on the process and procedures necessary to produce deliverables.
- Must be able to review, comprehend, and communicate various policies and procedures including Federal and State regulations, publications, documents, and correspondence.
Work Environment:
- Must be able to multi-task and complete tasks in an interruptive environment under time pressures.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and all levels of team members.
- Must be able to work in a smoking environment with loud noise.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience/Education:
- Prior experience in hotel operations, supervision, leadership roles;
Bachelor’s degree or related combination of education and experience.
- Supervisory or management experience preferred.
OTHER:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Level 2 Missouri Gaming License
- Must complete all required company training.
