Pay Rate:

$27.89

 

Category/Shift:

Hourly / Full-Time / Open Availability 

1st: 7am – 3pm 

2nd: 3pm – 11pm

3rd: 11pm – 7am

Must be able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays.

The Job You Will Perform:

  • Safely operate a sit-down powered industrial truck (PIT).
  • Verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments, and prepare items for shipment
  • Load and unload trailers
  • Complete pre-start PIT maintenance inspection report
  • Follow proper trailer loading and unloading lock-out/tag-out procedure
  • Complete receiving report to accurately record materials received
  • Submit receiving reports after trailer is unloaded
  • Complete load sheet to accurately record the grades, bale count, loading start/stop times for finished goods on outbound shipments
  • Complete and submit load sheet at completion of shipment
  • Understand and follow load pattern according to trailer and/or railcar
  • Follow all safety rules and practices at all times
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervision

 

The Skills You Will Bring:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years Forklift (PIT) experience
  • Previous industrial manufacturing or corrugated industry is preferred but not required
  • Be able to multitask in a very fast-paced environment
  • Be computer literate and able to read, write, and speak English
  • Effectively use radio and scanning equipment while arranging the transportation of products
  • The ability to learn, follow instructions, communicate, and work efficiently in a team orientated environment
  • Must be able to work available shifts, weekends, overtime, and holidays is necessary.
