Z1 Performance Center Porter

The Z1 Performance Center is the heart of Z1. The products we produce, the skills we possess, and the work that gets our customers excited are all represented here. Our Performance Center is visible to anyone who visits Z1 and is a showcase throughout the year. As such, the Porter position is critical for maintaining the world-class appearance we have strived to maintain. 

The Porter is responsible for the cleanliness and organization of the entire technical area. Additionally, the Porter will perform certain tasks that improve the efficiency of our vehicle technicians. Lastly, the Porter is responsible for washing  Z1 owned vehicles and select customer’s vehicles. 

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the shop floor, R&D area, Dyno room, Showroom, 
• Customer Lounge, and Compressor Room
• Work closely with Z1’s Service Manager and Shop Foreman to create schedules for cleaning work and address specific needs that arise.
• Wash Z1 vehicles and select customer’s vehicles as required.
• Clean kitchenette and refrigerators as required.
• Stock bathrooms with basic supplies.
• Stock fridges and snack baskets in customer lounge, shop, and conference room.
• Take out trash, discard used tires, empty oil and coolant drains, and put away used car parts in the designated area.
• Fill gas caddies as needed.
• Assist vehicle technicians as needed.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

•  Genuine desire for things to be clean and organized.
•  High School diploma or GED.
•  Valid Driver’s License.

Physical Demands:

•  Must be able to walk and/or stand for long periods of time.
•  Must be able to lift 60lbs.
