LUMA Residential is looking for an organized, dependable, and results-driven Assistant Property Manager to join the team at Indian Creek Apartments in Carrollton, Texas. This is an important leadership role within the community. You will work closely with the Property Manager to keep operations running smoothly, support the onsite team, build strong resident relationships, and help drive the financial and operational performance of the property. What You'll Do As the Assistant Property Manager, you will be a key partner to the Property Manager and onsite team. Your responsibilities will include: Own the Collections Process: Monitor resident accounts, communicate regarding outstanding balances, follow established collection procedures, and work toward maintaining delinquency below company goals. Manage Property Accounting: Process rent payments, daily deposits, account adjustments, resident ledgers, and other property accounting responsibilities accurately and timely. Support Month-End Operations: Assist with reporting, reconciliations, documentation, and month-end closeout responsibilities. Deliver Exceptional Resident Service: Build positive resident relationships, respond professionally to questions and concerns, and help create a community residents are proud to call home. Support Leasing Success: Assist with leasing, renewals, resident retention, marketing efforts, and occupancy goals as needed. Partner with the Property Manager: Help coordinate daily property operations and ensure company policies, procedures, and standards are consistently followed. Step Into Leadership: Provide support and direction to the onsite team and confidently assist with property operations when the Property Manager is unavailable. Maintain Accurate Records: Ensure resident files, notices, documentation, and property records are complete, accurate, and compliant. Create Raving Fans: Provide a level of service that turns residents, prospects, vendors, and team members into advocates for the community and LUMA Residential. QualificationsWhat We're Looking For We are looking for someone who understands that a successful Assistant Property Manager is more than an administrative role. You are a problem-solver, communicator, financial partner, resident advocate, and leader. Our ideal candidate will have: At least one year of continuous multifamily property management experience Previous experience with collections, delinquency management, resident accounts, and property accounting Leasing and resident relations experience Knowledge of Fair Housing requirements and multifamily housing practices Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail Ability to communicate professionally and confidently with residents, prospects, vendors, and team members Ability to prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced property management environment Experience with property management software; Yardi experience is preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other business technology High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license and active automobile liability insurance in the employee's name Availability to work the schedule necessary to support community operations Why LUMA Residential?
