The Senior Account Manager functions as the mainĀ clientĀ contact for an assigned book of businessĀ containingĀ PCL’s accounts with a high degree of technicalĀ expertise.Ā MinimumĀ book size $1,000,000.00 in revenue.Ā

This position requires the ability to work autonomously while performing duties requiring extensive knowledge and understanding of the insurance field. This positionĀ is responsible forĀ building,Ā expandingĀ and solidifying relationships with clients at all levels with the company and leadĀ appropriate resourcesĀ to address the client’s needs, including risk identification and resolution of underwriting or policy issues, accounting issues, claims issues, etc.Ā

How You Will Contribute:   

  • Lead the renewal process by obtaining, directly or indirectly, quotes and claims experience from various carriers.Ā 

  • Assisting Producers with any new business calls and implementation of new business for newly assigned accounts as a resource.Ā 

  • Act as liaison between producer and client by obtaining exposure and operation updates, receiving renewalĀ applicationsĀ and orderingĀ appropriate documentsĀ needed for renewal.Ā 

  • Handle a diverse range of insurance products in the Commercial Lines arena.Ā 

  • Submit complete andĀ accurateĀ renewal information to the incumbent carrier(s).Ā 

  • Prepare Insurance Coverage Review documents.Ā 

  • Bind coverage with the carrier(s)Ā in accordance withĀ the client’s instructions.Ā 

  • Responsible for the day-to-day account management of client accounts which includes, but not all-inclusive:Ā 

  • Speak to customersĀ regardingĀ commercialĀ coveragesĀ on their policies.Ā 

  • Renew commercial policies by providing ID cards, binders,Ā policiesĀ and certificates.Ā 

  • Monitor and process quality control procedures on each commercial account.Ā 

  • Utilize Agency Management System by creating activities and attachments for each commercial account.Ā 

  • Manage all aspects of assigned accounts.Ā 

  • Communicate with PCL on status of accounts.Ā 

  • Manage accounts receivable on designatedĀ book of business.Ā 

  • Process daily mail and perform daily administration of designated book of business.Ā 

  • Contribute to the development of Technical Assistants.Ā

Licenses & Certifications:   

  • Active P&C License.Ā 

Ā 

Skills & Experience to be Successful:  

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.Ā 

  • Proficient with MS Office Suite.Ā 

  • Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality.Ā 

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.Ā 

  • Exceptional customer service skills.Ā 

  • EnjoysĀ routine work, but flexible to respond to change in tasks/priorities.Ā

PreferredĀ 

  • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred and/or extensive commercial insurance customer service experience.Ā 

  • 5+ years’ experience in a similar position.Ā 

Pay Range

$90,000 - $110,000 Annual

The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
