Production Supervisor – 2nd Shift

Intervala is growing, and we are expanding our leadership team to support increased production on our 2nd shift. We are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor who can provide strong leadership, develop employees, improve processes, and help drive the success of a growing manufacturing operation.

What You'll Do

As a Production Supervisor, you will provide leadership and direction to employees directly and/or through Group Leaders. You will coordinate daily activities, manage workflow, support production goals, and ensure employees have the resources and direction needed to be successful.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide daily leadership, direction, coaching, and support to employees.
  • Supervise and coordinate departmental activities to meet production and company requirements.
  • Assign work and establish procedures to maintain an efficient workflow.
  • Regulate workflow to maximize capacity, productivity, and efficiency.
  • Train, advise, and counsel employees on work processes, procedures, and company policies.
  • Promote a culture of individual responsibility, quality, and strong workmanship.
  • Monitor departmental performance and track progress toward established objectives.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and support corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure projects and assignments are completed in accordance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations, including OSHA, SOX, and Management System Standards.
  • Support internal and external customers by promoting strong communication, responsiveness, and professional relationships.
  • Participate in audits and help ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Partner with HR and department leadership on recruiting, interviewing, employee development, discipline, personnel relations, transfers, promotions, and other employee decisions.
  • Help develop employees through coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, productivity, quality, and team performance.
  • Lead by example and promote a positive, accountable, team-oriented work environment.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking a confident and collaborative leader who can effectively manage people and priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Strong leadership and people-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage conflict tactfully and professionally.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly regarding product quality and workmanship.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and variables in a production environment.
  • Previous project management experience, including planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Experience leading teams in an electronics, electromechanical, or contract manufacturing environment.

Preferred:

  • Associate degree in a related field.

Production runs 3:30pm - 2am Monday - Thursday
As a Supervisor, you may be required to come in earlier for meetings, interviews, etc as well as work Friday's when production is on overtime.
